Stolichnaya Stoli Vanil Vodka Dreamy Ice Cream Scoops Print Ad 1997 1990s

Stolichnaya turns a vanilla vodka launch into a dessert fantasy, nesting the Stoli Vanil bottle in a giant frosty coupe of ice-cream scoops under a starry midnight sky. Each scoop carries the word VANIL carved into it, a simple visual joke that explains the flavor before a single word of copy is read. The painterly, softly shaded illustration style gives the page the sweet dreaminess the brand wanted in 1997. It is aimed at drinkers who like their cocktails playful and sophisticated.
