Candie's Jenny McCarthy Shoes Legs Quirky Bathroom Rock Star Print Ad 1997 1990s
Candie's turns a clawfoot bathtub into a stage, with Jenny McCarthy belting into a shower-head microphone in a sparkling mini dress and royal-blue mules. The caption says she is wearing her Candie's shoes in royal, tying the goofy rock-star scene to the footwear and keeping her legs and shoes front and center. The humor and bright white bathroom reflect the cheeky, MTV-era attitude of 1990s youth marketing from 1997. It is a fun pick for collectors of celebrity and shoe ads.
- Macy's, Burdines and a toll-free number are listed at the bottom
- A cursive logo sits beside the caption for easy brand recognition
- Retro tub, toilet-paper roll and brass fixtures add quirky set details
- Measures approximately: 8" x 11"
