Benson & Hedges 100's "Just Wing It" Airplane Wing Print Ad 1994 1990s (2pgs)
Benson & Hedges wants smokers to believe a good time is worth going the distance, and this 1994 ad turns that idea into a surreal joke with stylish passengers lounging on a jet wing at cruising altitude. A flight attendant works a drink cart while a woman in hot pink looks on, and the headline asks whether all your smoking flights have been cancelled before answering "just wing it." This two-page spread was carefully removed from a magazine, so the image may not line up exact in the center.
- Tagline "The length you go to for pleasure" plays on the extra-long cigarette size
- Giant engine and deep blue sky fill the left page
- Surgeon General's warning box and tar details printed in the lower left, original to the ad
- Fun reference for tobacco, aviation and 1990s humor collectors
- Measures approximately: 8" x 11" (each page)
