1920s Watkins Coconut Oil & Elgin Watches Antique Print Advertisements Ad 1921
Taken from the April 1921 Cosmopolitan, this sheet shows the front and back of one single page. One side is a Watkins Mulsified Cocoanut Oil Shampoo ad, "How to Shampoo Your Hair Properly," illustrated by Alonzo Kimball, with step-by-step pictures of women washing, rinsing and brushing long hair. The reverse is an Elgin Watches ad, "The Time-Ball," a masked ball scene with Father Time and a scythe.
